Have 2 component inputs, but 3 machines to share it.....

Any pointers or suggestions on an econimical "splitter".....I'm sick of watching my region-free player through the "S-Video" input!

I've seen good comments about this:

You could try it out and return it if it doesn't work for you.

Thanks, X.

Looks like it only has RCA inputs and I'm looking to feed two componenet cables into one component input....

If you're looking for something really inexpensive, go to a store that sells video game accessories and get a Pelican HD switcher. It's about $20-$25 and will switch between 3 component video devices.

Unfortunately, it only supports standard RCA inputs for audio, so you're SOL if your two devices use a digital audio connector.

If your tv has two component inputs, you can run two through the receiver, and one, straight to the tv.
I thought if your tv has the inputs, maybe you hadn't thought about this............
Good luck!

I'm confused. Don't your component cables use RCA connectors?

This is exactly what I did. I had a cable box, DVD player, and PS2 that all had component inputs, but only two on the TV. Going through the receiver (assuming you have one with component inputs) will give you the inputs you need. When I upgraded to a DVD player with DVI, then it became easy. If this solution won't work, then some of the other suggestions will have to do.

I picked up this very product at Circuit City and have been very happy with it. I watch a lot of HDTV on an 85 inch screen and haven't noticed any picture degredation since I switched from a direct jack-into the projector.

It actually has 4 component inputs, should you have more needs in the future. (But yes, no digital audio switching capabilities.)

Seems to have dropped to $17 bucks sinceI bought it:

I just ordered the Pelican selector. For $17, it's not much of a gamble. And if I don't lose too much video quality with the 360, it's a great bargain.

I would really appreciate some feedback on how the quality is with the 360. I really need a component system selector but don't have a whole lot of cash, if this thing holds up the 360's graphics good I'll be real stoked.
