Recommend me a CHEAP DVD player

Ok, I just bought an LCD TV for my office. I will use my PC with it, but I always prefer a stand-alone DVD player for quality. Can anyone recommend me a cheap DVD player? Small would be fine...not sure if off-brands are worth it or not. I know I would need progressive scan for sure.

Thanks!

Anyone use the CyberHome DVD players? They are dirt cheap...but I'm sure for a reason. This is just for a second dvd player.

You can get a CH 300 for about $20 if you look around. I use one as a secondary player and it works fine; it's even region free. It's also small, which is why I bought it. Just know that CH's are like hamsters. They'll work fine for awhile, then one day they just won't anymore. You might get a hamster that lives a long life, or one that doesn't. For the price, and knowing that it is a disposable player, you might find it a good deal.

Here's a thread specifically about the cyberhome:

A search of "cyberhome" will also bring up several threads discussing it, usually along the "I need a region free player" lines.

Agreed on the Cyberhome CH300. You would be surprised. They are pretty good. Plays just about everything and a couple of button presses on the remote and it's also region free. Here ya go.....http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1069297420815
