Using Monster Cable with HD Selector

Hi everyone.

I just bought an HD selector to switch between my DVD player and XBOX 360. I was using a monster cable to connect the DVD player to the TV. The HD selector came with a component cable.

My question: how should I use the monster cable?

Should I use the monster cable to connect the HD selector to the TV, and use the other component cable to go from the DVD player to the selector? Or should I use the monster cable to go from the DVD plater to the selector?

Thanks for any input.

Dave

Assuming that the Monster cable is of better quality than the other component cable, use it to connect the selector to the TV. Assuming there is any signal loss, it is more likely to come from the switcher than the DVD player.

In spite of Monster Hype, it is unlikely your Monster cable is better (or worse) than your other component cables, so it really doesn't matter.

You should be needing a total of three component cables, one from each component to selector and one from selector to tv. If that's more than you have, try Monoprice. Search for other threads about them.
