Pixelization and Cable questions
I currently have an AR component cable going from my cable box to my TV (Sony 50A10) and while the picture is great on the HD channels, the analog channels sometimes look awful. I get some pixelation on HD channels, but not regularly.
Would upgrading to a DVI to HDMI cable from component really increase my picture quality? Or is the pixelation/bad signal purely the fault of my cable company and there's not much I can do? Thanks |

Most of what you described sounds like the cable company's fault, esp if it is only sometimes. You can certainly try the DVI/HDMI to see if it is better, it may depend on your cable box. Actually, some cable boxes don't even have the digital output turned on. But I'm sure you could get one that does work if you don't have one now.
