Upgrade Time, how about these choices?
ok, my current set up, is a pair of Polk RT 600s (older, like $400 for the pair back in the day), a Polk Center and 2 shitty as hell KLH rears from a Best Buy Black Friday sale a few years back.
I have a Sony 555 ES receiver.
My local Tweeter is having a sale, including the 12 month no interest financing.
I'm thinking of going with
Receiver : Denon AVR 3805
Front Speakers : Sapphire ST2
Center : Sapphire whatever model
As for the rears , in my new set up, I can afford the room to use the current Polk towers as rears, and the guy at Tweeter said that would be fine, since tone matching isn't AS important in the rears.
I'm looking about about $1500 t otal after sale prices are reflected..
Any opinions?
