Can't decide between Sony or Toshiba Projection ----->

It's on sale for an amazing 888 bucks this week!!! The downside is that I think it sits so low that it needs a stand which is an extra few hundred. It's also the old basic CRT technology so its a pretty big / bulky / heavy set

Toshiba DLP 46HM84

This set also needs a stand but is a DLP set so it is nice and slim. This is the base model DLP Toshiba puts out. They have an HM95 series and an HMX95 series and I am not sure what features they have over this one but the price is way too much on those. This set is 1750 bucks, and the 52" is the same price!
I'd love to save 900 bucks and go with the sony but I think I will regret it. I just want to talk out the pluses and minuses.....what do you guys think????
