Looking for SMALL rear speakers...help

Ok, I would like to upgrade my Rear Speakers...preferrably small satellite speakers. The smaller the better. I currently have all JBL, just wondering if there is anything good out there. I currently have small satellite from an older HTiB setup from JBL.

Well how small is small to you? Do you wnt in-wall, bookshelf, wall mounts? Keep in mind if a speaker is too small it may be next to worthless.

I guess I want something like a bookshelf (nothing in-wall). Maybe even something LIKE the small BOSE cube speakers, but not BOSE.

We've got a small living room with the couch up against the wall. I needed small surrounds to mount on either side of the couch. I got a pair of Klipsch Quintet IIs and the work great. I put in two tiny shelves (4" x 6") on either side of the couch that we got at target for $10 and set the Quintets on them. Small footprint, great sound for the price and size, and reasonably loud at a 90dB W @ 1m.

They aren't the prettiest speaker due to the fork foot, but it allows you to mount them on the wall (which I did in an apartment).

One can usually find them (new) on ebay or one of the audio sites.

If you want the best bang for your buck, you should pick up a set of the Energy "Take" series bookshelf speakers, of course they are so awesome that you'll probably replace your front speakers with them and then need to pick up another set for the rear.

Paradigm makes some very small speakers in their Cinema series line- I think they are the Cinema 70s.
I'm using Paradigm Atoms as my rears and to be honest they'd do well as side surrounds- in fact that's what I was using them for before getting bigger Paradigms for the sides
