Discs loads in French!

Discs load in French.
How do I stop a disc from loading a menu in the French Language? All of my defaults are in English, but the region 2 (UK) set of Six Feet Under Season 2's menus and options load in French. I put these discs into my region-free portable player as well as my PC, and they loaded in English.

I would just set the dvd player to default not english, that should do it.
