Free Satellite Stations on your TV??
Does anyone know what stations the Free-to-Air satellite recievers get?
They claim over 3000 stations, but searching on the web leads me to many middle eastern stations and the ones in the USA seem to suck. It seems all the good stations are just on Dish or DirectTV, and none of those stations are free.
Can these FTA satellite systems even get local stations? What is the quality like, is it perfect?
And how honest are they? One FTA website said they get free Annenberg, but when I went to Annenbergs website, although they said anyone can get their station for free, they require one of the very large dishes, not the normal sized ones. So it was slightly misleading.
Is the FTA satellite a good addition to cable, will it offer enough viewing quality to make it worth getting?

I looked into it awhile back. It seemed like most of them were religious, shopping, or foreign. Plus, not all channels are on all the time. And unless you have a BUD, you cant access all the various sattelites that have the programming.
