Looking to buy a new TV.
Looking to buy a flat panel TV. I was looking at Dell because I want a monthly payment, not sure if BB or CC have easy plans like that but anyways. Dell has a 30" flat panel HDTV for $1500 (2000 but $500 rebate) . I mainly want to use this TV for movies and such but do want to hook it up to my computer. If I am hooking this up to my computer sometimes, what kinda inputs/outputs should I look for and would going with LCD or plasma be better? I am looking for a budget inbetween $1000-$2000 and around 30". If anyone has any comments or suggestions that would be great.

DVI or VGA for your computer, just like any other monitor. Component or HDMI or DVI for DVDs, depending on what player you [will] have.
If you are looking at HD specifically, make sure it is actually HD resolution. There are many EDTVs out there that will play HD signals at lower resolution, but the marketing makes them sound as if they are native HD. This will also help if you use the PC, since PCs have much higher resolution than TVs, normally.
Plasma has burn-in issues. If you know how to handle this, no problem. But not recommended for PC use, really. LCD is really starting to look pretty good, but it has not caught up with plasma quite yet. IMO.
