TV making cracking/popping noises (?)

I was just wondering if this was normal. I have an LCD TV that here and there makes just popping noises, similar to when TV stands try to relieve stress (?). Just wondering what anyone think might be going on.

Thanks!

it happens alot to my 32 inch projection, mine is all messed up because i constantly turned it on and off and finally it just wouldn't turn on anymore, got it fixed, but every few hours or so it'll make one or two popping noises like somebody would pop those what do u call them? rock pop on the ground(not the candy).

the sound isn't like an electronic pop. hard to describe. I guess it is similiar to when a house tries to relieve stress during the winter (?), it's like a quick crack/popping noise.

My 27" Sony flatscreen makes a pop/crack sound after it has warmed up. I always thought it was the plastic cabinet expanding.

Mine does this as well. I believe it is just a heat issue and not a problem.
