Whats the best $50 DVD Player

I have a PS2 and Xbox and am tired of using them as my only dvd player.I am looking for a low cost dvd player that will play all formats(dvd-r,dvd+r etc.)and have component output.I saw the weekly ad from best buy and they had a toshiba dvd player for $50,how is it and any advice on what player to get would be helpful.

This Philips should play anything you can throw at it.. It seems to play it all very well too.. also component and optical/coaxial out. It's a little over your price but not much... $64.88

I have a Toshiba that I bought from best buy a couple of years ago. I don't know if it's the same model. But it plays well. It will play DVD-R, but not DVD-RW. I don't know about DVD+R because I haven't tried it. I'll check the box it came in later to see.

A couple months ago, I picked one up at Sam's Club for my sister after her old player died for $30. It was either Hitachi or Toshiba, can't remember which for sure. I know it had component out, but not sure about compatibility with DVDRs. Was a nice looking little player for $30...

I've got a Deawoo 9200n that does all of the things you want I believe and it can be region free with a soft hack (takes 2 seconds). Costs about 48 dollars or so.

It is sweet, I have it. The remote is kludgey, but I use a universal anyway.

Second that, works great with all regions, and also does PAL conversion correctly, which is a major plus, since I import from UK pretty often.
