It's very small. Very small. It looks like it was made for about a 13" to 19" TV, and I'm guessing the 19" would just about reach this stand's weight allowance. Look at to the scale of the CDs, DVD player and tiny VCR.

I've seen it and the legs on it that look to be metal are grey colored plastic. I would be concerned about putting to much weight on it.

I have a variant of the that which are wedge shaped corner tables (put next to each other to form a semi-circle table). They support legs are made out of plastic.

However, it supports my 27" flat tube TV without an issue (knock on some serious wood) which weighs in at close to 90lbs. My 2 cents, for what its worth...I think the limiting factor would be the size of the TV, not really the weight.

i don't think my 51" Sony would fit on it too well. i won't be using it for a tv stand, just mainly for my dvd player, ps2, and gamecube.

I just can't stand walking into K-Mart (at least in this area). They are a mess, they're dirty and they're nowhere near competitive on prices. The few that are left in the Minneapolis area, the parking lots are nearly empty when you drive by.

Oh yea, I paid $22 for my jeans at Sam's Club.
