Need surge protected on/off switch for sub

Hey. I have a Mission 70asa subwoofer being driven directly by my Yamaha HTR-5240 receiver. One particular shortcoming of the 5240 is that there's no way to completely mute the subwoofer. Even if you route all bass to the mains, when using an external decoder (like an SACD player for example) sound still passes to the sub. The problem is that I occasionally need to listen through headphones, and I'd like to kill the sub without adjusting the volume knob on the back or unplugging it from the receiver. So does someone know where I could find a single-outlet surge protecter with on/off switch? Do they make something like that with remote capabilites?

I have never seen a single outlet one but there are surge protectors with on/off switches.

If you already have a surge protector then you can purchase a switch for the plug. I needed one for my old fashioned George Forman Grill (original models did not have an on/off switch). Anyway, picked mine up at Kmart for $1.50 or so. Mine was a two-prong version.
