Could we be seeing the beginning of teh end for Plasma?

Better profit margins. They best fix the qualtiy cuz my Samsung plasma has a far better picture than a friends JVC LCD.

The beginning of the end has been forecasted for a long time now. The problem is, plasma keeps improving. LCD still has not caught up to plasma for home theater use. In a few years, who knows. LCD proponents keep improving their panels, but forgetting that other technologies improve as well.

Teh end is nigh!

At least I hope. I am happy with my setup, but would love to buy a few plasmas to have around for the right price. I haven't been impressed with the LCDs yet.

plasmas are going to be manufactured in record numbers in '05 due to the fact that several new plants have opened up. prices will drop precipitously. the rumors of their death is quite premature.
