Component or S-Video, which do I want?

Which will give me the better picture quality when connecting between by DVD player and TV? I'm tired of using the crappy AV cables.

RF coaxial - Worst
Composite RCA - Fair
S-video - A little better
Component - Much better
DVI/HDMI - Best

Use the best of those options that your TV supports.

I picked up a Component cable tonight, it does look a lot better. My TV is HDMI compatible though, I may look into that.

Your DVD player would need an HDMI output, or if it has DVI you can by a DVI<-->HDMI adapter. Other than that, you will most likely be stuck w/ component.

I suppose one of those 2.4GHz wireless audio/video transmitters would be worse than RF.

This list is fine if your talking a LCD/Plasma but for CRT based the best connector is VGA/RGB by far!
