Question About Home Theater Systems.

Hi, im also new to this board, and mostly dvd collecting. I got into it because i thought it would be a cool thing to do. Just recently I got a 24 Inch Memorex Flat Screen Stereo DVD/VCR Player Built-In. It has a gray picture near where the dvd player is on the tv, and it says dolby digital, and the other one says dts. so im assuming i could have a home theater installed on this tv? heres what it looks like on the back of the tv.

Theres 7 hubs, one for the cable cord, 6 others one, one has a arrow pointing down and it says coaxial, and on top it says digital audio. to the right of that ot says output video and on bottom it looks like this

L
|
Audio
R

And three hubs/plug-ins there, (dont know what there called). then the exact same thing to to right of that but it just says video, not output video, and on top of that it says line 1 in, then 3 more hubs/plug-ins

Think i can get a home theater system?

Also, whats an affordable one that works, maybe $100-$350?

PLMK, Thnx, :)

Chris

Are you looking for a Home Theater in a box or seperate components? I'm guessing a box with that kind of budget..

You could go with something like this Onkyo, they make some quality HTIB's

how can you tell if there htib or not?

You can tell as a HTIB has everything (receiver/speakers) included within one package. Separates you would select and purchase individually. It sounds as if this is to be your first Home Theater setup. Taking this in mind, and considering your price range, an HTIB sounds like your best bet.
