Best value in 27" or 32" TV?

Hey, guys! I'm in the market to purchase a new TV. What I'm looking for is either a 27 or 32" set that is HDTV ready and is flat-screened. Not sure if I want 16:9 or not. Anyone have any recommendations for a set under $500?

I would checkout the Toshiba models. From all reports they have great pictures and are priced less than other brands while having better quality. Not sure of particular models, but find one you like and then froogle it....

for $500, i'd recommend getting 32" flat screen TV with 16X9 compression & 3:2 pulldown.... it's not HDTV but it serve quite well

i got 27" HDTV which is ok for that price, but extra inches could be better sometimes

oh, for $500, it's almost impossible to get widescreen TV... just FYI

hope it helps
