Any opinions of this TV: Apex 32" PF3225

Anyone have any opinions of this TV? Best Buy has it for $379. The picture quality at the store was one of the better ones compared to the Sony's and Toshibas. Any advice?

Hi Mo,

Basically, the Apex has a lower contrast ratio and lower lines of horizontal resolution. Therefore, it COULD NOT have a better picture. It's not technically possible

More than likely, the settings were off (and probably the picture was jacked way up on the Apex) on the name brands.

Bottom line? There's a reason the Apex is priced less. It's not a very good TV. You are better off sticking with the Sony or Toshiba (or Panny in that price range, although without V compression)

If you want a 32" spend a $100 and change more for this one.

That's a good price. But I'd have to drive to another state to find a Circuit City.

Anyway. For some odd reason I'd like to see the TV in person before I drop $500 on it. Weird I know. So CC won't be an option.

Read the fine (or not so fine print) if think shipping is free on heavy items. Such as a television. It costs 100's of dollars to ship heavy items and they won't do it. Unless you live right the store. I know because I live about 100 miles from the nearest BB or CC.
