30" HDTV Options?
 

I started looking for a TV today when I was at Best Buy, and I just wanted to know if there was anything else I should be looking at before I make my decision.

I am looking for something around 30". It has to be HDTV and widescreen. I want a tube because I plan using this TV for videogames and rear projection and plasma just aren't up to it yet (tell me if I'm wrong). I took a look at a Samsung unit they had on the floor, but it just looked like crap compared to the Philips they had next to it:

Philips 30PW850H

They had it for $850. That was the lowest I have seen (except for Amazon which has a special on it for $760 with only one unit left). Is there any other TV I should be looking at before I make my decision? I wanted to spend under $1000, but I can easily be swayed if the right TV is pointed out. Thanks for your help.
