Which player is the best for beat-up DVDs?
I keep my collection in pretty good shape, but accidents happen. Any recommendations on a decent player? BTW, a region-free player (regular or hackable) would be a nice bonus. :)

My Pioneer 444 has played every disc i have tried, and i own about 600 now. I had a Toshiba (cant remember the model number), but it had trouble with a few discs.

Used to own a JVC years ago that played beat up rentals very well. than two years ago i switched it out for the Panasonic DVD-RV31S and the thing artifacts dvd's with the slightest smudge or hairline scratch. all this aside from the HO3 error message i now get as well. no more panasonic period. i'm tired and would like an answer too.
How about these: Sony NS575P Sony NS725P JVC N44SL and what the hell's different between the first two sony's : Precision Cinema Progressive (PCP) Technology ??? |
bump. please.
