Hanging speakers on the wall?
What do you guys use to hang your surround speakers on the wall? I don't want to use nails since this puts holes in the walls. I have tried using that sticky putty stuff, but that tears the paint off the wall. Is there something that I can use that won't hurt the wall?

If you don't want to put holes on the wall, I think you should use a speaker stand instead. Or may be put it on a shelf or something.

One word: spackle.
Spackle is a homeowner's (or renter's) best friend. Put the nail (or even better, screw into wall stud), enjoy and spackle and sand when you're done. |

Nah. Use double-sided tape!!!

You would need heavy speakers to make these come out.
I've done a chine-up off of two (175lb.). http://www.homedepot.com/cmc_upload/...s/740313_3.jpg |
Also, if you ever move, you can just screw the base of the above anchor in a bit more, then cover with spackle and paint.
