DTV's HD Package Worth It?

I just got my HD receiver yesterday, and was able to watch the CBSE feed on channel 80, and the shows in HD are amazing. Definately worth it. And having dolby digital is awesome now too. My question is, is the $10.99 HD package from DTV worth it? I know I'll definately need it for Sunday Night NFL games, but that's not for a few more months. I love Discovery, so that would be cool, but is the rest really worth it? And once you sign up, aren't you locked in for another year? Thanks.

Having more content in HD is always worth it. And, no, you're not locked in. I had a DirecTV HD receiver for about 4 days, including the HD package. I returned both when I decided I would just wait for the HDTiVo to come out*.

*only 2-3 weeks to go.
