Help! I'm out of component inputs!

My TV only has 2 coponent inputs. Both are used, and I'd like to use component for video games as well. Is there an adapter?

I havent read any reviews on this but it might be a great solution if it works correctly:

MadCatz HDTV System Selector

I'm using that MadCatz unit (until I buy a new receiver next month with component video switching!), and it seems to work okay. I wasn't totally satisfied with the blacks I was getting from dvds running through it, so I've recently been re-connecting things to bypass the MadCatz for movies. I don't know what the component video bandwidth is for this unit, figure it's probably not great. Still, it does allow my son to play progressive scan Gamecube games that way on the HDTV. For $30 it's been a decent temporary solution.

If I were not going to be buying a new receiver soon I might very well have invested in the Audio Authority 1154, which seems to be getting good reviews at HTF and elsewhere.

Edit: The JVC JXS111 is another component video switcher that seems to be well-regarded [I'm sure it can be found for less than this, just wanted to link the item]: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...DKIKX0DER&st=*

I wouldn't suggest using the JVC for HDTV bandwidth component video switching (though DVD quality and below should be fine).

Another you may want to consider is the Inday, which gives you >230Mhz of bandwidth and a remote:

And, of course at the really $$$ end, there's the Zektor:

Here's another one, comes with a remote and, according to a discussion over at HTF, has component video bandwidth of >250MHz.

It also has 2 outputs (to go with 4 inputs), for those who might need that for some reason.

The JVC can be had for $74.99:

It's worked fine for me with DVDs but I don't have an HDTV.

Thanks -- I knew I'd seen that for less *somewhere*!

Do you have surround sound yet?
Most all newer receivers offer a few component inputs.
Just trying to think of some options for you. :)

i have the jvc jxs111 and i seem to get some blackouts at some bright moments while watching movies when i set my sony dvd to progressive and have no problem when i hook up the dvd player direct to tv, all other stuff works great, comcast hd box, ps2, and the cube.
