Smoking Pioneer dv-563as deal TONIGHT only!

I just picked this thing up recently, and for a universal budget player, it is amazing. Best Buy has it onsale this week for $149.99 (did i miss this in the circular?)... and they have a $10 off $125 online that expires tonight. Item and coupon link are below. Order for store pickup and you've got SACD and DVD-A for $139.99.

I've had the same player for a few months now, and love it. For anyone looking for a Progressive Scan player with the capability to play DVD-A and SACD, this is a great choice.

It got rave reviews on Home Theater forums as well.

It's too late to get the additional $10 off now, but you can still print out the item page at BB's website and get an $11 price adjustment.

Yeah, if you show them a cheaper advertised price, within 30 days (?), they give you back the difference, right?

Quick question about this unit, which is selling for 141.99 on BestBuy.com right now: Is there any difference between the 563A and 563AS, or is it simply a reflection of the newer, lower price?

So, does anyone know what the difference is between the Pioneer 563A and 563AS? Anything?

Ah, didn't think of that. I haven't actually seen either model in person. But it makes sense, though. Thanks.

This player, IIRC, is only available in silver. The AS is just restating that fact (on some website?)... It's always, correctly, been called the 563A.

BTW, Best Buy had these on clearance (discontinued) for $139.00... I snagged one a few weeks back for it's SACD support. Nice player on my 4X3 set, however, not as sharp as my Pannys on my 16X9...

The new model is the 578A and it's retailing for ~ $150...

I picked this player up about a month ago at CC and love it. It has a great picture and has worked flawlessly for me thus far. I think I paid around $125ish if memory serves me correctly.

Is it possible (easily) to get it region free hacked locally post-purchase, I wonder?
I already have four players, so I'd like to get the 563 and give my parents one of my other region free players. It seems the Pioneer 525 I gave them a few years back is developing problems, though my own 525 is still working fine.
