It's nice, but I think I'd prefer a screen quite a bit larger. Especially for 2.35:1 movies. I'd want a 2.35:1 screen and use curtains for 1.85:1 movies. It may already have that, but I can't tell by the picture.

No way a rapper would ever have something that tasteful constructed in their home. For one thing - there's no Scarface poster, or NBA Jam arcade machine...
Beautiful theatre... thanks for making us all look like losers.

I'm in love with it! I'd love to shoot a film in it, wherever it is! I even love the progressive, colorful presentation.

Well that's an obviously nice theater Mr. Blanks has but is not the one posted here. Notice the location of the projector itself and hell the whole thing is different. Might look similar at a glance but no way are they close to being same theater.

It's not Eddie Murphy's theater, it's not Billy Blank's theater, just some dude with hundreds of dollars on the avsforum who finished building it in December last year.

yeah, you dont have to be famous to have a theater like that... at the store i work at, we have a few clients that have 7.1 meridian systems with DSP8000's. (the speakers are $50k/pr), and they dedicated theatres, the $100k runco projector, etc... but they are just businesmen or whatever.
