NTSC v. PAL

I have a CyberHome 320 and am able to perfomr the region hack based on instructions posted here, but my Sony KP-57WS500 picture rolls when I try to play a R2/PAL or a R0/PAL DVD. I have tried them both with the CyberHome set to PAL and to AUTO with no luck. Is this an NTSC v. PAL issue or is there something more I am missing? I appreciate the help in advance!

Instead of PAL or AUTO, set it to NTSC.

What X said. Setting it to PAL forces the player to output PAL, which isn't going to work. Setting it to Auto tells the player to output whatever the disc is, which is PAL so it outputs PAL. Keep it set to NTSC and it will convert PAL to NTSC.
