Best fit for me?
I'm shopping for a DVD player and I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for.
Heres the TV I got not too long ago. Samsung Dynaflat 27"
The only feature I know I want other than the obvious of being able to play DVD's is to be able to play MP3's. The price range is around 175$ or less. All the other nifty features I'm not even sure I'll ever utilize and some I don't understand so evaluate my situation. Thank you in advance.

Bozco.........
The Pioneer DV563A is a GREAT player. It will play almost anything, including mp3. It's progressive scan, if you ever need it. Has great picture and sound. The wonderful thing about it is that it plays dvd-a and sacd discs! Other universal players cost 2x-4x more. You can get it at Best Buy for $179, unless it's on sale cheaper!
EDIT:
BTW........here is the first of 22 pages of people talking about their Pioneer 563A players..............enjoy!

I just checked out the Toshiba players and no stores carry the SD-3900, though they do have the SD-3950. The Toshiba main site offers both but at much much higher prices. I'll have to keep checking out all the players around.

do you need a region free player, or just a region 1 player, you could also check out samsung dvd players, I have one in my living room and while the remote control range is not that great(older dvd player) the color fidleity is great.
but for $179 the pioneer cannot be beat!
