Would this DVD surround give me a gud home experience?
Considering im only 17 and have a room, which is 11 foot by 11 foot. Its a sharp HTCN400DVE. 200 watts with dolby pro logic 2. Im looking for a surround sound system at a price of around £200 because thats my limit for christmas. Even at that im having to add a sum of money to it. So do you think it would be good enough for my room?

It won't be great..................but it will be better than nothing!
I lived with Dolby Pro Logic for about 9 yrs.
You do know that Pro Logic is basically simulated surround, don't you?
It's just working with 2 channels, instead of six.........
Have fun!

Dolby Pro Logic II has added alot of new life into older non 5.1 soundtracks. It's a big advantange over regular Pro Logic. Look at it this way, you're only 17 and you have to start somewhere so if that's what you can afford then go for it. Upgrading is part of this hobby so you'd better get used to it.

well i could push to about £180 i guess, which will get me a panasonic surround sound. im also looking at a larger tv to complement my new system. I have allocated £200 approimately for that. I only have a 14 inch tv at the moment so i want the experience to be better with a larger tv as well as home cinema. Is there any suggestions for £200?
