wireless speakers
Hello,
Does anyone know if there are wireless adaptors for home stereo's? I would think there is something that plugs into the back of the reciever and sends a signal to each of the speakers. If anyone knows of anything, I would really appreciate hearing from you. thanks!!! |
Yes, they usually come with the wireless speakers.

Thanks for the reply Brian, but I don't think I phrased my question properly. I have a Dennon receiver and Boston Acoustic speakers. I'm wondering if there is something that will plug into the back of my receiver and then into the back of each speaker so I don't have to wire the room. Do you know of anything like this?
thanks again! |
Yes there is, but you need powered speakers for this type of application. You can send audio signals through the air, but not power.
You don't want wireless speakers anyway, as there are a few inherent problems (delay, temporary signal drop, etc.). |

If wiring is a problem, one solution is to use wire tape. It is flat and truly invisible when painted over.

Wire tape is *much* easier/faster! Although for us, walls/ceiling were not an option. Hardwood carpetless floor, no walls from side to side in the center of our loft (tv on one side, speakers on the other), and a concrete beamed ceiling. Wire tape did the trick tho.

What is the largest (thickest/lowest) guage avaiblable in wire tape? Is it available in 12 guage?
