regional code.

I have just returned from Australia and bought a Philips DVD home theatre system. It will not play my region 4 Australian DVD's sodoes any one know the code to make my DVD region-free?

Did you mean you bought the system here or in AU? I've been given to understand that all DVD players sold in AU are region-free as it is required by law.

I bought it in the UK - Philips LX-3000D. You are incorrect about DVD players bought in Australia as I had an LG model which could only play region 4 dvd's until I got the code to make it region free.
