Low cost TEAC widescreen TV's
Has anyone had any experience with some of the lowcost TEAC widescreen TV's?
How do they perform? Are they worth looking at considering I've got a low budget but would prefer a 16:9 rather than a 4:3 aspect ratio?

Widescreen TV's really do require good QC so I would advise to shy away from Teac as they are total unknowns in the 16x9 HDTV market! They are geared for low cost/low quality equipment and you would be better served by waiting a bit longer to save up more funds and get a mainstream manufacturer's HDTV.

I notice you're in Australia. Most of the members here are US/Canada, and we dont have that brand over here. In fact, I havent seen anything made by Teac over here since the 80's. You might have better luck finding the info on a Australian website. I dont know if you have consumer reports over there, but thats a good place to look if you do.
