Just wonderign if there is a big difference in Component vs Compostive? And if using the Digital hookup in my Sony DVD worth using?

Yes it is. If you have the capability to use component hookups, by all means do so. You will see an improvement in picture quality. However, this will depend somewhat on the equipment you are using, low quality gear will yield poorer results than when using better gear. -wink-

This what I have to connect component sources to the the one component jack.
www.inlineinc.com/products/matrix/3506.htm When on notice the're BNC, to convert all you have to do is use 21 gold plated BNC to Phono jacks. When on the site scroll down to see how much video bandwith is available. I use Silver Serpents components cables at www.bettercables.com

I connect 4 DVD changers and 2 single drawer players, one region 1-6. You can see the market doesn't have any that you can buy, I converted this 2 years ago. BTW I have IN3506, good luck with your component not composite input. :)

Big difference, most likely not. But I agree if you have the ability to use component then you should.
