Need help with buying new TV. Is this one any good (DLP)?
I am looking into getting a new tv, but with all of the different formats (i.e. Plasma, LCD, etc..). I don't know what to get. I consider myself knowlegable on home theater equipment, but there are so many choices. I am really interested in DLP, in particular the Samsung HLM-5065W. .
Does anyone know anything about this tv, or a comparable model? I don't think this is out yet (?) but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I was also considering the Plasma format, the Sony KE-42TS2 to be exact.

go with the 507. i believe the main difference is the 507 has the faroujda chip whereas the 506 does not. at least that used to be the main difference.

Actually 5065 and the 507 have the same chip, the only difference is the case, the 5065 is slightly larger.
The HLN series is out now, so the HLM should be going closeout now. The HLN adds 2 new sizes, a 55" and a 47" to the already 43", 50" and 60".
