maybe we'll be lucky
Decided to ask SONICblue about DiVX and got this promising reply...
"Though the Go-Video D2730 Networked DVD Player does not currently support DiVX,
it will be possible to play other video formats (such as DiVX) in the future. We
are working on many such solutions right now. As of right now there is no date
for a launch of the product in Europe, though we do plan on releasing it there a
sometime."
I don't really understand the difference between mpeg layer 1 - 4.
