Does this make any sense?
I have a JVC SA70 dvd audio player, and I'm starting to have problems with it. Sometimes it loads the disc, sometimes it doesn't. I can't say this is the rule, but it appears it won't load single layered discs, but will play dual layered. Has anyone ever heard of this situation before? Any suggestions, other than avoiding single layers, or buying a new machine?

I kind of had the feeling it was.
What I was hoping for was that someone would recognize the symptoms, and be able to inform me of what it took, if anything to fix it, and how much?
