Are these speakers any good?

Does anyone use the Altec Lansing XA305 or XA3021 for dvds? I was wondering how good the quality was especially with 5.1 dvds.

can the XA3021 be connected to a computer instead of a TV, vcr? ect. if so what cable[s] do i need?

I dont think they can. Maybe if you had a special soundcard or something.
