Neo:6 and Prologic II - When do you use them?
I just got the Panasonic SA-HE100S and it has (among other things) Pro Logic II and DTS Neo:6... My question is when would one use Neo:6 over pro II for a non- Dolby 5.1 or DTS 5.1 signal (i.e. TV broadcasts)?

My receiver is the Kenwood VR-509 and it supports DPL 2, and I use it quite a bit.
I rarely use it for television, but it sees a lot of action with my videogames, vhs tapes, and a lot of dvd's special features.

PLII is great for videogames that aren't in 5.1, such as PS2 or Gamecube games. It's also terrific for TV. DTS NEO-6 can be used to add a matrixed back surround for DTS 5.1 soundtracks or it can make stereo sources six channel.
