Thin vertical black lines on Tosh 50HX81

I had recently bought it (Nov'02) and recently noticed that on all my inputs (DVD (Component), Dish Network (S-Video) & VCR (Composite), on scenes where there is bright red/yellow colored object in the center of the screen, I can see a few very thin vertical black lines starting from the center of the screen and 2-3 inches towards both right & left. Is this normal ? Is this something that can done by tweaking ?
I have reduced my contrast to around 30 from day 2 on all the inputs. I have bought AVIA but not yet fully implemented the tweaks using this DVD. I have also done 9-pt convergence.
Any advice from existing user of this set will be very much appreciated.

Check out www.hometheaterspot.com. Look in the Toshiba forum for info. Doing a 56 point convergence will help. This is in the tweaks section on the site. Good luck.
