Does Wharfedale make a good sub?

I just ordered the Wharfedale Topaz SW-10 150-Watt Subwoofer on Amazon's friday sale for $183 shipped. This is going to replace my JBL that fried a while ago, and a small bedroom.

The reviews at Audioreview seem to like it, but I trust you guy more :D What do you think, did I make a good purchase or am I going to be looking for a new sub 6 month down the road:(

Well I hope it's good because I'm buying some Wharedale Evo 30's and wouldn't mind checking out this Sub as well.

In the under $200 category, the subs are typically recommended by HT enthusiasts are as follows:

Sony SAWM-40

DLS 10"
(Partexpress Part No. 300-630, $100 plus shipping)

I just have a comment on Audioreview.com. I truly believe that people there are genuine, but people are biased when it comes to reviewing their own products.

Almost everything on there will get a positive review if they are owned by the people who review them.

I give my Paradigms an extremely good review because I bought them, and of course I think it's good or why would I buy them. It's the theory of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Just food for thought.
