Switchers

I have multiple devices (dvd, xbox, gamecube) that I want to plug into the component input on my television. Is it worth buying a component video switcher such as the JVC jx-S111? Someone told me that if I buy a pair of cheaper $20 composite switchers, using one of them for component cables and one of them for audio, I will get the same picture quality. Is this true?

You may have some picture loss by using audio switching for a component video signal. The audio jacks on the switcher are not shielded as well as the video will be. the component switcher will remain component through the jvc.
