I need some dvd to old tv connection help
 

What is the best way around this problem?

My MIL has an old 1986? GE TV. It does have RCA connections in the back. However, she doesn't have the original remote to the tv and I don't know how to get the tv to switch the the a/v input channel without it. She gets the audio part fine with her ancient receiver, but how do I get the video connected cheaply? New remote? Some kind of adapter?

I would imagine any inexpensive universal remote that can be programmed to control GE TVs would work.

Look at the www.oneforall.com site to see if your television is supported. You can also contact them to see if they can recommend a remote that will work with your particular TV.
