Nice!

Did you paint the lighting to match the interior or did you buy it that way?

That's very nice. I was wondering what size room that was. I have a spare bedroom in my house and was thinking of making that my HT room, but it's 12x12 and might be a bit small.

That looks incredibly slick man. And whats funny is I just bought that same tv and looks like we have the same equipment stand. I would go thru and try to copy the whole thing you have done if I could. But I have a giant computer station and bookcase holding my 300+ dvds. That really is a awsome, good work. Are you happy with your tv? Have you went to adjusting the color or anything to where you think it really looks really good? Because I dont have time to fool around with mine so if you have something that works really well let me know so I can adjust mine that way.

this room isn't even 12x12, more like 12x8, that would be a great size to set something like this up.. the smaller area really makes a 53" tv seem much bigger and the 5.1 setup seems to work better if the room isn't huge..

Cheddarmuff: the chair is a due linee salloti, i got it at Sams Club, not too expensive, but very comfy..

puddytay: I really like this tv, its got great color and all I've done to it since I got it was adjust the convergence once and turn the contrast down to around 30, other than that it's had no problems..

Beautifull

do yourself a favor and pick up a Lutron Spacer and remote so you can dim those lights from your seat...~80.00 give or take and comes in black.

Nice setup PhYbEr! Looks like it should nice and comfy, dark and loud.

Do you even have room to sleep on the other side of your room? Maybe you should have just bought a futon.

on the documentation and the link.

Yeah there's just enough room for my bed and computer on the other side of the curtain, I was thinking about taking the bed out also, but then it wouldnt really even be a bedroom anymore

Yeah that is really cool. I was thinking of doing the same thing but our spare bedroom is too small and tv is too big(65"). So I use the living room which might as well be a dedicated HT except for a 4' door way (without a door) so it is not completely sealed. I also use the long heavy black curtains so ther is NO light and have painted the walls dark. How far do you sit from the screen?

Looks good PHyber, I'd like to check it out sometime. I am looking forward to getting my 42" widescreen set in on Thursday. AS my Home Theatre won't be quite as elaborate as yours (hell, still in an Apt right now) it will get more elaborate as I move into a place I own. Great work and nice documentation. My TV is the last thing that needed upgrading in my HT setup. I guess I need the HD Receiver though...hehe

Man, that is pretty sweet. I love the lighting and stuff.

My only question, or thought, doesn't it drive you nuts your tv isn't centered with the lighting. That would drive me insane how the lighting is off left of center w the tv, but I'm weird like that.. I gotta straighten and center stuff 5 times a day practically. ha

Either way, awesome.
