Component or S-video?

Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find it.

I am trying to set up my home system and I was wondering which will give me the best picture. At the moment I am just using the little yellow RCA? plug (which I guess is composit) but reciently I saw component video and composit A/B'd against one annother... and I couldn't belive my eyes, so I am thinking of rewiring my home system... which one will give me the cleanest video signal... component (the three different plugs) or S-video (the one that looks like a computer plug) I realize that opinions may vary... just looking for some idea.

Opinions shouldn't vary, Component connections are the best. Then comes SVideo, then Composite. The jump from Composite to SVideo is huge, but the jump from SVideo to Component isn't.

If your player and TV both support Component, that's what you should be using.
