quick TV/receiver question

I am looking to hook my TV up to my receiver to get sound from cable programs with Prologic II. My TV has two audio outs on the back, one red and one white. And my receiver has an audio input(also one red and white) that looks exactly the same. Do I just need to buy a standard audio cable like this one from Best Buy?

Cable

Thanks

Yes but,

The preferred way to do this would be to connect your VCR if you have one. If your cable converter goes straight into your TV you would be better off connecting from the cable box.

Basically you want to connect to the source material, the TV is not the source.

Also remember that in order for you to get Pro-Logic you will need to be getting that signeal across your cable with a program that is in Pro-logic.

Good luck.

Exactly, if you are not using your TV's speakers think of it as a computer monitor and only feed it video signals.
