Anyone ever try those "shaddy" ebay lens?
 

Has anyone ever tried those lens and plans to build a projector that they sell on ebay. I ran across one today and it looked pretty good, but come on, for $10 and some wood I am supposed to have multi thousand dollar setup. Sounds fishy to me? Like the old say goes if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

I was just curious if anyone had risked the money and tried to build one?

Final answer: Yes they work, yes they look like crap. You also have to have your TV upside down (basically you just build a box around your TV and turn it into a projector).
