Need some advice on Toshiba DVD

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a new DVD player. I currently have a Tosh SD2109. Had it for about 3 years, no major problems. I want to upgrade to a new player, one that can play DVD-R's, etc. I'm thinking of buying a Tosh 2800, the price is certainly right at under $150. My home theater set up is only Dolby Pro Logic, and my Sony Trinitron leaves me no component option, only SVIDEO. Anyone have a 2800? Is this a good buy? Any advantage to purchasing the more expensive SD3750 (keeping my home theater set up in mind) ?. Any competitors models I should consider (Sony, Panny, etc.)? Thanks, would appreciate any advice!
