Malata multi-region DVD

Hi all

I am looking for a multi-region DVD player i have read alot of good reports on the Malata 520 but i have a few questions.

1 can i use this on my PAL TV as i am living in the UK and have a Pal TV.
2. can this player also play Enhanced regional coding DVD’s
3. Has this player got progressive scan
4. does anyone know an online store which sells this player in the UK (with 240V power supply not 110)

Cheers

1. Yes it can be used on a PAL tv.
2. I haven't run into any RCE problems but maybe someone else can awnser this one better.
3. It is Progressive Scan
4. I got mine from NBT electronics in Canada, but I believe they will also ship overseas. Also I think HKFLIX based here in the states will ship to you.

I hope I was able to be of some help to you.

The Malata allows you to manually select which region it should be set for, which effectively works around RCE.

I just checked the back of my 520 and the power cord is hard- wired so it looks like you will need an external power converter.

The Malata is compatible with voltages between 100 and 230. Works in the USA, Europe, and practically anywhere!
50or 60 hz
