Please help with DVD player info
 

Hi all,

Okay, i'm new to all this region stuff and have found out i can get all the latest godzilla flicks if i get an All Region player. Can anyone suggest to me a good cheap all region player? Does anyone know of a good cheap all region player that also has progressive scan?

I have a big screen JVC tv and just bought a new progressive scan DVD player, but alas, not all region (if i only knew about that a few weeks ago).

Any help you can provide to this Godzilla Freak would be extremely appreciated and make me happy.

Just remember, you will want a region free player that also does PAL to NTSC conversion. While Japanese R2 discs are in NTSC standard, you will need PAL playback capability if you want to pick up R3 discs (many Japanese flicks come out there and many are PAL).

The MALTA units do the job well and aren't that expensive.
