Toshiba Portable DVD Players
 

I've decided to go with a bigger screen Portable DVD. Toshiba looks like a good brand to go with. My primarily concern is the picture quality though. I've seen the 5 inch screens, and am very impressed with their picture quality. Do the 8 inch screens have the same great quality?

I really need help soon on this, if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I own the Toshiba SD-P2000 and in my opinion it has the best picture quality of any of the portables. I did a lot of comparing before I purchased. It has an 8.9" LCD screen and is a progressive scan player. Some have complained about the so called "bulky" battery pack, but to me it makes the player feel more sturdy. I've been using mine for about 4 months and I just love it.

I looked at this player and thought it had a great screen too. I finally decided to go with the Samsung L100 because it had a bigger screen and I got a good deal on it through my brother in law. Should have it sometime this weekend. -biggrin-

I'd suggest doing a search on toshiba portable in this forum...there are a few extensive reviews of this player.
